After a long wait I give you the final product: The Faery of Versailles.

I had the urge to color this extremely girly and like something I would want to have on my wall.. so I did.

I wish I had more to say about this, but I am happy with the result.

This was drawn with prismacolor markers, watercolor pencils, acyrillic paint, white gel pen, on bristol board.

she is inspired by the palace Versailles in france. grandeur and decadence with little concern for anything else.

Did you use a picture of a BJD as a reference for this, by any chance? Something about the proportions reminds me of one.
